Experimenting with charcoal, blending, the whole nine yards. I've spent so much time with precision and graphite, that having something more instantaneous, with better values, to boot, is a welcome break. Trying to work from sight, not go to the grid so to speak. I have to get back to a few pieces on the desk, but this was a great diversion.

I'm really pleased with the way that this one came out. I think that the style and medium lend themselves to moodier pieces, without so much precise detail (such as matched eyes, clothing, etc). I used the shot "Dont Bring Me Down" [link] by *OhToast as a reference; I've loved her shot for ages and ages, and even had it as a desktop for a while

Its one of those that you keep around hoping to get to it one day, but never quite do. Until you do lol!

I really love the face and hair. It has so much emotion and feeling in it. The only thing that bugs me is her shoulder. It looks unfinished to me. But everything else is wonderful! Good work!
