My darlin' Kathrin... she doesn't like this particular picture, but I think it captures her in a contempltive moment, and I like the way it turned out. I guess it just means I'll have to do a few more of her :-p

November, 2008
Numbered pencils, H, 2B, 4B & 6B if I remember right, on smooth bristol paper. This (and After Action) was one of the last ones I did before I started playing around with blending and erasers, so there's no blending here, its all just the pencils, and no highlighting w/ erasers. I used my kneaded to clean up the edges and erase some of the guide marks as I was going, but that was pretty much it. Compare that to [link] done a few months later of the same girl
